‘Let’s introduce pidgin English in our schools’ – 2face

2face Idibia has suggested that Pidgin English be introduced in Nigerian schools to aid communication and transfer knowledge to kids in rural areas in a more effective manner.

The Afro-pop icon obviously believes communication is one of the problems in Nigeria and expressed his opinion on the MTV Base #ChooseOrLose Roundtable which premiered on Friday, February 6, 2015.

For the Hypertek boss, introducing pidgin English in schools may be the most effective way of combating the education deficit in some parts of the country which is as far as 2face is concerned, is due primarily to language barrier.

‘For me, they can gather some linguistic professors and let them package pidgin English properly,’ he said.
