Award-winning Nollywood filmmaker, Obi Emelonye, took to social media today, February 12, 2015 to celebrate his lovely wife, Amaka Emelonye as their marriage hit the 10-year mark.
The London-based director of award winning movies, Mirror Boy and Last Flight to Abuja posted the couple’s wedding picture taken back in 2005 and another recent picture of himself with his wife and children on Facebook in celebration.
As a way of putting the many blessings of the union in context, he added a romantic message as caption: ’10th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (12th February 2005 to 12th February 2015.) Today is my 10th wedding anniversary with the impossibly perfect Amaka. My dear wife, I love you more than you would ever understand. And just like fine wine, your beauty, your positive influence on my life and my devotion to you; keep increasing with every passing year. I am who I am, because of you. I loved you before I knew your name. I love you more today and I will love you with all my heart… forever…’
Obi Emelonye is one of the most prolific producers and directors in the new Nollywood movement with amazing films like Onye Ozi, The Mirror Boy, Last Flight to Abuja, Thy Will be Done and others to his credit.
