The 2012 edition of the annual Lagos Carnival celebrations has been slated for Monday, April 9, 2012.
The carnival which is in its third year is as usual the highest point of the Lagos Black Heritage Week and has been themed ‘Eko4Show’.
Over 12,000 participants are expected this year, all dressed in beautifully coloured costumes and parading the streets of Falomo, through to Ikoyi, Lagos Island and finally Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) where they’ll be welcomed by the Lagos State governor and other dignitaries.
