MLS Club, LA Galaxy has confirmed the signing of former England and Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard.
The club confirmed the signing of the former England captain on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 before the star player made it known in an interview with Galaxy TV where he disclosed he will join the California-based club in July 2015.
‘Football is my life and will continue to be for a couple of years, I’m not going over there for a holiday or to enjoy myself. I’m going over there to win, and if I win and play well, then my life becomes more enjoyable.
‘I still feel like a player. I still feel like I can perform for a number of years, so I want to go to a club with a winning mentality,’ Gerrard said.
Steven Gerrard started his youth career with Liverpool in 1987 and later progressed to the senior team in 1998 before the shock announcement that he will leave the Premier League club at the end of the season last weekend.
