Veteran guitarist Fatoke Abiodun who worked with Juju icon King Sunny Ade for many years has been sentenced to three years imprisonment for drug trafficking.
Abiodun, 62, was sentenced on May 14, 2013 by a Federal High Court in Lagos. He was arrested on Tuesday January 1st 2013 with 1.575kg of cocaine while trying to board an Air France flight to Italy at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
Abiodun who is 62 years old was a guitarist with KSA’s band for three decades until he was retired in 2007. He is married to four wives.
