Who else remembers when Kim Kardashian tried to ‘break the internet’ last year with her naked photo shoot for Paper Magazine?
Despite her best efforts, the Internet survived. But, yesterday, Monday December 21, Kim did manage to temporarily break the Apple app store.
Kim launched her new app Kimoji on Monday, December 21. And Yes! It’s a Kim themed emojiis.
The demand for her app was out of control. At one point, there were allegedly 9,000 downloads per millisecond. The Apple app store couldn’t keep up with the traffic and it began crashing.

According to TMZ, Apple’s tech team had to actively work to ensure the store stayed afloat.
The app currently works on iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and email.
