Following the robbery attack on famous reality star, Kim Kardashian, chilling new details have emerged.
According to TMZ, the 35-year-old mother of two had been asleep in just her robe in the wee hours of the morning when she heard the robbers barrelling up the stairs of her two-story apartment.
She quickly picked up her phone to call her bodyguard when it was snatched from her ear by one of the five robbers who were dressed like police officers. A scared Kim begged that her life be spared as she had two little kids back home.
While all this was going on, Kim’s friend and stylist, Simone Harouche, who was sleeping downstairs in the same building, sprung up from her bed and locked herself in the bathroom, from where she made a phone call to Kim’s bodyguard, Pascal Duvier.
‘She was hysterical but not screaming as she knew she had to keep quiet to survive,’ the insider shared. ‘The reports of her fear of being raped are real. She really did think she was going to be raped. She had a gun to her head the whole time,’ a source later told People.
According to the source, Kim later managed to wriggle out of the ropes that were tied to her wrist and scream from the balcony, from where her friend Simone managed to hear her and call the bodyguard.
The robbers left the building on rented bicycles two minutes prior to Duvier’s arrival, but not before collecting her $4.5m ring and another box containing $6.7m worth of jewellery.
Kim has not been seen wearing the ring, which was a recent gift given to her by husband, Kanye, since the incident.
