Nigerian music video director, Kemi Adetiba has honoured late ESPN sportscaster, Stuart Scott with an emotional tribute after the popular broadcaster lost his long battle with cancer.
The female music video director took to Instagram on Sunday, January 4, 2015 just after the sudden death of Stuart Scott was announced.
While posting a picture of the late ESPN star host who died at the age of 49, Kemi wrote: ‘Sad sad day in the world of sports. This man played a huge part of my early days getting into basketball and years after. I lived for his ESPN sports rundown during sports news. Especially when I missed games cos I was in class. I used to make fun of his googly eyes and Steve Harvey suits. I loved his sports commentary and analogy… Even if I didn’t always agree with them. Rest in Peace Stuart Scott. I’ll always remember how you screamed “BooYah!!” or your catch phrase “He must have been a bus driver, cos he was taking them to school!!”#ESPN.’
