It was a battle between two very appropriate candidates as Idris Elba and Kanye West squared off for GQ’s Most Stylish Man of 2014.
However, Kanye West has turned out to be the champion of swag in the year because when it came down to the final decision, all fingers pointed to Kanye. Fair enough, but no one can deny Idris Elba was a pretty tough competition.
And even if Kanye inspires hundreds of fashion magazines, GQ included, he couldn’t hide how difficult it’s been solely focusing on fashion and letting music take a backseat somewhat and that is something he would surely work on next year.
