K1 cancels Atlanta show over the death of manager’s brother

King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly known as k1, who is currently on a tour of United States, has cancelled his Atlanta show over the death of Frye Fashakin, the identical brother of his international manager and show promoter, Mark Fash.

K1 has held two successful shows in Maryland and New Jersey and was planning the third one in Atlanta when the death  of his manager occurred.

It was a really sad moment for the king of Fuji music who took to Instagram to mourn Frye upon receiving the news.

I am a proud “YORUBA MAN” any day, anytime or where ever the need arises, My Tribe and also a part of Nigeria in AFRICA where I came from, has respect for many things which includes (1) Our Traditions and Customs (2) Elders & Ages and also the writing rules about the Supreme Being Addressed as God… Hmmmmm “Omo toba so ile ati asa nu, iyen ti so apo iya ko” I was brought up in a setting where we shared pains and grief regardless of whom it happens to, either known by you or not.. Talk less of when the person is directly connected to you, reason they always sent greetings through you to the person like, “Eku orire ti lagbaja, when good things happened or Edepele ti tamedun, when it is the other way round” Many thanks to my parents for bringing me to this WORLD via the Tribe I was born into… Event of the last one week though me another lesson in life…Honestly… I may be down, but am not out… I grief with my International Manager & Show Promoter Mr Mike Fashakin, on the sudden death of his too identical younger brother and Music gurus himself, Late ISSAC FRYE FASHAKIN… The Ultimate Band , lead by me will always remembered our working together with FRYE that his demise last week kills all our morals even when his brother hide the situation & news from getting to us.. After both shows of Maryland & New Jersey, there is need for us to hold our self’s back a little.. To Mourn one of us, nothing is too much in that regard’s, hence the POSTPONEMENT of our PERFORMANCE today in ATLANTA G.A.. I assured all our Fans & Friends to resume and continue with the show, from 31st of July in HOUSTON TEXAS and will accordingly re fix the missing show of today to meet up with our cherished Patrons in ATLANTA G.A as fast as possible… Sorry for any inconvenience my people… kindly join us in mourning this departed comrade of us.
