Reports say Justin Bieber’s laptop might not have been stolen during his recent show in Tacoma, Washington as the whole drama might have been a promotional stunt to release his new single ‘Beauty and a beat’.
Bieber had announced to nearly 29 million fans on Twitter that he and his tour manager’s belongings had been carted away – this included his laptop and some other valuables. Hours later, a nude photo of a young man believed to be the 18-year-old popped up on Twitter.
But questions have been raised as on Friday, Octber 12, 2012, about the authenticity of Bieber’s claim.
AP reports that another Twitter user alluded to having the laptop and footage of the pop star. The account, though, linked to Bieber’s new music video, which starts with text saying personal footage was stolen and uploaded ‘illegally.’
This propelled people to believe it was all a hoax meant to hype the new music video, which was released Friday.
‘Be very clear, the laptop was indeed stolen in Tacoma. That was NOT a hoax’, Bieber’s publicist Melissa Victor however insists.
