After replacing Joselyn Dumas as the host of ‘The One Show’, Ghanaian TV personality, Anita Erskine might as well have confirmed reports of a rift with the curvaceous actress.
In a recent interview with Pulse Ghana, Anita, who is also a top actress in the former Gold Coast said: ‘Joselyn and I have a very good working relationship but we were not best friends, and we were not the kind of people who will call each other on the weekends, we have never been. She has never been my best friend and I have never been her best friend.’
Speaking about the rumoured rift with the more popular Joselyn after taking over the hosting right on ‘The One Show which airs on Viasat1TV from her, the actress said: ‘We are not best friends because in life you come into somebody’s life just to do business and after you are done, you walk out, a rift cannot happen first of all, when you are not in charge of my life and I am not in charge of yours. The relationship didn’t state that I make key decisions to affect Joselyn’s life.’
Anita Erskine became the host of Viasat1 TV’s flagship lifestyle show ‘The One Show’ in July 2014 after Joselyn Dumas and her co-host, P.Y. Addo-Boateng left the show, with sources simply saying they decided to purse bigger opportunities.
