Award-winning Ghanaian actress, Joselyn Dumas, has launched a social media campaign ‘#Xcholera’ to combat the disease of Cholera.
The actress, who made a stinging criticism of African celebrities who recently took part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, would like more focus on cholera instead, sharing how to get involved in the campaign on her twitter page.
‘Take a picture with your mouth covered with your right hand and post it on social media network with the hashtag#XCholera#keepCleanGh#IdidMine,’ she wrote.
The Xcholera campaign is expected to create global awareness about the deadly disease which is very prevalent in Africa as a result of terrible living conditions of most people, especially in the less affluent areas.
