Controversial player Joey Barton has slammed the English FA.
This time he was annoyed over the association’s choice for a new chairman.
Greg Dyke was voted in as the chairman of the FA and will be resuming in July.
Joey Barton was appalled by the decision. His grouse? None of the FA executives are former players which according to him, hinders their roles of governing the sport.
‘Once I looked at who actually frequents the higher echelons of the FA. The 12 people in power. How many have played? That’s right, you guessed it, NONE. Not one current FA director has ever kicked a ball in front of a crowd EVER! The game is ******’ he ranted on Twitter.
Joey Barton is on loan in Marseille from QPR.
