Ruby Gyang premiered her new video ‘Good man‘ on July 3, 2014. While we can’t help but call it a near classic (considering the brilliant vocals and emotion-filled lyrics), we noticed something odd.
The video according to Gyang is a moving tribute to the good men in her life – a number of men were featured in the video including M.I Abaga, Ice Prince Zamani, Audu Maikori, Jason Abaga (M.I’s youngest brother) but the singer’s baby daddy Jesse Jagz is conspicuously missing.
Ruby has an eight-year-old daughter, Jade, for Jesse Jagz. The two met way back in Jos and the rest as they say, is history.
So why wasn’t Jesse included in the video? Those in the know will tell you the Jagz Nation boss has alienated himself from his former Loopy Music–Chocolate City family ever since parting ways with the Audu Maikori-led record label in February 2013.

Please how is this even relevant?????
This Jesse Jagz gist is stale and hardly the most important thing about this classic video.
Loving Ruby and eagerly waiting for new material from her.
I have always been an avid fan of Ruby, Loved her since I first heard her songs back in the day, with Kahli Abdu, Mode Nine on Nine, Heart of the city with MI, Okay, Down and finally Good Man. When I first got to watch up her live it was an experience. I am so loving this song and happy that she is in a good place.
