William Balfour, former brother-in-law to Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has been convicted of the murder of Jennifer’s Mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew.
83 witnesses were called over 11 days of testimony and witnesses confirmed Balfour threatened to kill the entire family if Julia Hudson spurned him.
The incident happened October 24, 2008, the morning after Julia Hudson‘s birthday, and prosecutor said William became enraged when he saw gift of balloons in the house from his wife’s suspected boyfriend.
According to the prosecutor, Balfour went back inside the home with a .45-caliber handgun and shot Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, in the back; he then shot Jason Hudson, 29, twice in the head as he lay in bed, and later drove off with Julia’s son whom he shot several times in the head.
Balfour, will now face a mandatory life prison sentence but he showed no emotion.
Hudson, who expressed her undisguised disdain for William Balfour was overwhelmed with emotion as verdict was read.

emotions are very important in every day life a lot of people are not balanced emotionally thus actions like these
Life in prison without parole is better in my opinion than execution. Once executed he is relieved of all pain. Life behind bars will make him suffer every day for the rest of his miserable life. Yeah, keep him alive and make him suffer.
