Jean-Claude Van Damme‘s wife has filed for divorce. The couple who have grown-up children Kristopher and Bianca together have been separated since March 7, 2015 and the actress and former bodybuilder has cited irreconcilable differences in documents submitted to court to end their 15-year marriage. Gladys is seeking spousal support and plans to drop her husband’s surname.
The 54-year-old actor has not commented on the separation. The former couple were previously married from 1987 until 1992, and Jean-Claude went on to wed three other women before reconciling with his first wife.
The action star has previously admitted he is ‘not perfect’ and admitted suffering from bipolar disorder which makes it difficult for people to be around him.
