They might have denied getting a divorce back in August 2011 but according to celebrity gossip magazine In Touch Weekly, celebrity couple Will and Jada Pinkett Smith may finally be separating.
Reports say Jada Smith has met with popular celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser and ‘finally begun to take steps towards dissolving their marriage’.
In Touch Weekly back in August broke the news about Will and Jada getting a divorce after 13 years of marriage. The couple immediately issued a statement denying the news. ‘Our marriage is intact’, they said.
Wasser has represented the likes of TV series star Kiefer Sutherland, Pop singer Britney Spears and most recently Maria Shriver in her pending divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger and TV reality star Kim Kardashian.
A source tells In Touch that Smith reportedly turned down a movie role in an upcoming Keanu Reeves-directed debut. ‘She wants to spend time with her kids during this difficult time’.
The couple have two children together, pop stars Jaden and Willow Smith. Pinkett is also the step mother of Will Smith’s first son from his previous marriage, Trey.
Jaden, 13 and Willow, 11 have both blossomed in the showbiz world with movie and music endeavours. Reports also suggest that their careers are the ‘root of the smith’s marital problems’.
