Iyanya received the honour last night when Ben Ayade, the Executive Governor of the state confirmed his appointment at the unveiling ceremony of the 2015 Calabar Carnival.
Confirming the new appointment to NET, Iyanya’s manager and label owner, Ubi Franklin said, ‘Yeah, we feel really great and this is just the beginning. Iyanya is now the face of the state at all levels’.
He also confirmed that the appointment comes with an office in the state, a brand new car and monthly salary.
