Never mind that Waje is a mother of one, the singer has finally opened up on her relationship status by revealing she is yet to find the proverbial ‘Mr Right’.
The Glo Ambassador opened up to City People in a recent interview and when asked why she’s still single, she shot back thus: ‘It’s not anybody’s business that I am not married. My fans know that I’m happy. Whether I am married or not, I am a happy woman.’
On her plans concerning settling down, the ‘Onye’ singer was equally expressive: ‘Of course, na God dey give person man. The day God will give me a man, I’ll let you people know and will invite you to my wedding. If the man comes my way and he’s the right person, why not, I will marry him. For now Jehovah, the King of kings, is the man in my life. I am married to Jesus.’
Like her very close friend, Omawumi, who has announced that her traditional wedding ceremony will hold in April, Waje has a daughter. In fact, her child is now a teenager having given birth to her back when she was a teenager but the singer has stated she is yet to find the man of her dreams.
