I’m going to have fun bringing some real Nigerian flavour to the stage, and showing Joselyn Dumas that Nigerians are not just better at jollof,’ Funke characteristically said of her preparedness.

Probably choosing to ignore Funke’s cheeky ‘jollof’ jibe, Joselyn spoke of her excitement at sharing the stage with the comic actress.
‘I was highly elated when I found out I was going to be on Lip Sync Battle Africa and going up against Funke Akindele has proven to be exciting and scary at the same time. We all know how energetic Funke can be.’
Since it started airing in April, Lip Sync Battle has featured epic battles between Denrele Edun vs. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Flavour vs. Maps Maponyane, Toke Makinwa vs. Chigurl and Uti vs. Tumisho Masha.
Pearl Thusi continues to host the latest episode which airs on Saturday, May 28, while D’Banj continues to offer his hilarious commentary on the show.
