EME rapper Skales has denied he hung on the SUV which killed Popular T-shirt maker Seun Abdulgafar Aremu better known as Syntillate following a mishap on December 25.
‘I was inside the vehicle, I wonder why people are saying I hung’, Skales told our reporter at the Koko Concert yesterday.
Gafar who is popularly known for his ‘iRep’ Tees was buried yesterday Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos. The funeral was attended by a small number of family and friends.
As reported earlier Gafar was said to have hung on a moving SUV which was heading towards harbour point, Lekki when the vehicle ran into a ditch and somersaulted. He wasn’t as lucky as the others as the vehicle is said to have landed on him.

Am highly disappointed in skales for acting like the death of gafar meant notting to him..check his timeline and he didn’t mention anything on gafars death..instead he was busy thanking God for ur life alone and and talkn about his show..is dat how insensitive u are?!! We are talkin about someone u guys went out together and lost his life in d process!! Anyway am a big fan bt just disappointed
May his gentle soul rest in peac, i think skales is still a baby rather him saying bullshit he should be in church doing thanksgiving that he was nt lost in the accident…. Just tell him is high time he started acting like a real man, everything is nt abt superstar shit….

We all weren’t there, so i think u guyz should all stop judging skales. I honestly dnt think it was his fault. Celebs live a lie, so i guess those people who are gonna blame skales should just drop it. May his soul rest in peace.
