Arsenal head coach, Arsene Winger is yet to rule out the chances of winning the English Premier League title after losing two, drawing five and winning four matches out of 11 games played so far.
Recently speaking to reporters, the Frenchman who watched on in frustration as his team recently surrendered a three-goal lead against Anderlecht in the Champions League last week to draw 3-3 at the Emirates stadium said:
‘If I say to you: ‘No, the objective is not to win the title’, then I have to commit suicide when I go out from here. ‘The objective now realistically is for us to get back in a position where we have a chance to win the title’
Arsene Winger, who became coach with Arsenal in 1996, has since become the club’s longest serving manager, winning 1998 Premier League, 1998 FA Cup, 2002 Premier League, 2002 FA Cup, 2003 FA Cup, 2004 Premier League, 2005 FA Cup till date.
Arsenal FC is presently 7th on the Premier League table.
