MTV Networks Africa and Silverbird Television have partnered once again to launch ‘The Big Friday Show’, the brand new Friday night entertainment that will be airing on TV. The new TV show will be premiered on Friday, August 5, 2011 at club Rehab, Victoria Island, Lagos amidst exciting performances from some of the best talents in Nigeria’s Pop scene.
The organizers announced today that popular music acts like Ice Prince, Waje, Dr Sid and Wizkid will be performing on the night and Disc Jockeys DJ Jimmy JATT, DJ Neptune, DJ Smooth and DJ Snoop will be on the ones and twos.
The Big Friday Show which will be airing on MTV Base Block on STV every Friday night will cut across the ‘Naija’ youth culture, combining a high profile host with celebrity interviews, entertainment news, hot music videos of the week, music performance and a summary the week’s trending topics on Social networks. The show will be broadcast from 6pm to 7pm (Nigerian time).
