
Nollywood filmmaker and critic, Charles Novia has insisted that he stands by the opinion expressed when he appeared on a recent edition of ‘The Gist’ with Emma Ugolee.
Novia had joined Uzo Okpechi and Moses Inwang to discuss ‘New Nollywood’ on the show.

In a series of tweets on Saturday night, Novia insists that his opinions are valid saying, ‘We all have a part to play in the rebranding and reengineering of the industry which birthed from nothing to the present speck.’
He also accused TNS of sensationalising the story.
