Recently after Kelly Khumalo was accused of allegedly assaulting his rumoured celebrity boyfriend, Zamokwakhe Bhaka Nzama, the South African afro pop act has admitted to the offence.
But as far as her version of the story goes, she only poked Nzama in the eye by accident.
The alleged fight between the two lovebirds was said to have taken place at a hotel room in Durban where the singer was getting ready for the Metro FM awards on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
According to City Press reports, the ‘Makhelwane’ singer claimed Nzama first attacked him before she poked him in the eyes for refusing to leave her hotel room after their argument.
‘I poked him by accident as I was trying to push him away from me. He was the one who attacked me when I asked him to leave the room and he refused,’ she is quoted as saying.’
In a report, City Press claims the fight was caused by Khumal’s demand that Nzama leaves his wife, Jabu if he wants to marry her.
