While singer, Omawumi, continues to bask in the euphoria of her new life and engagement to her long time love and baby daddy Tosin Yussuf, some fans are accusing the Delta State-born singer of being too secretive, as she hid the identity of the father of her child for a long time before NET revealed it.
The singer, however, has some time on her hands, if only to respond to the allegations.
Omawumi responded to the criticism against her late last night.
‘I’m of the opinion that I don’t owe anyone any explanation. Just as I’m not prompted by pressure to reveal, I’m also not prompted by pressure to be discreet… I’m just me, and right now I’m deliriously happy to (officially) share my world with the ones I love…. Thank you to those who loved me nonetheless and thank you my loves,’ she said in a tweet last night.
