Having announced a movie date with some of her fans while sharing a throw-back picture of her mother on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, the I’ll Take My Chances actress was at the Silverbird Galleria the next day to celebrate by watching one of her movies, currently showing at the cinemas, While You Slept with some of her lucky fans.
It didn’t end there for the award winning actress as a birthday gig was also held for her on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Fuse Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The birthday event, featuring fellow celebs from within and beyond the world of movies, was well attended by her colleagues and friends. Some of those present include Kate Henshaw, Toyin Aimakhu, Ebube Nwagbo, Chidi Mokeme, Oge Okoye, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Ene Maya Lawani, Timaya, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu among many others.
With the crash of her 5-year marriage to Phillip Ehiagwina last year, many felt Ini Edo would slow down for a while or be out of the limelight for sometime. But she has not for once looked like a woman in need of pity, from buying luxury cars to holding a house warming party and finishing her latest movie, Ini has surely moved on and the birthday events of last week made that clear to everyone, more than ever.
