How Nollywood actress died of cardiac arrest in Lagos

Death has struck the Nigerian movie industry again, this time taking actress Chrisphina Adinusor.

The actress, NET learnt, died of a cardiac arrest during a visit to Lagos last month.

‘It is sad that we have lost another actress. We are trying our best to help her family in whatever way we can,’ Ugochukwu Orikoha, Chairman of the Port Harcourt chapter of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria, told NET.

The national Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the guild, Moji Oyetayo, confirmed to NET that the guild is aware of the death.

Chrisphina’s shocking death comes barely three months after the Port Harcourt chapter of AGN lost another actress, Ijeoma Perpetual Okorie, who died during childbirth.

Chrisphina has starred in over 20 Nollywood movies and was made popular by her role in ‘Merciful Souls‘. She was aged 39 and is survived by a husband and children.
