Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi scored 3 times on Sunday, March 8, 2015 to record the 32nd hat trick of his football career as Barcelona defeated Rayo Vallecano 6 – 1 to move one point ahead of the European champions, Real Madrid in La Liga.
The latest 3-goal run saw the football star surpass Cristiano Ronaldo while also becoming the first player in Barcelona history to Spanish club to score 32 hat tricks.
Lionel Messi has now scored 24 hat-tricks in La Liga, five in the Champions League, two in the Spanish Cup and one in the Spanish Supercup, making a total of 32 over all for the superstar.
