Veteran broadcaster and one of Nigeria’s best hands in the TV sector, Jimmy Folorunsho Atte is dead.
Sources say he was only briefly sick before taking a bow but the former Executive Director, News and member of the Management Board of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) died at the age of 66 on June 13, 2015.
The late Jimmy, regarded as one of the best in his profession and a mentor to many, was born on January 21, 1949. He studied at the Ahmadu Bello University before joining the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
Since news of his death broke, his timeline on Facebook has been flooded with tributes.
