The HKN boss gave out the sum to Olajide Daniel Sanyaolu, a young Nigerian student who was finding it difficult to return for his studies in the UK due to financial issues on August 19, 2015.
Olajide, a student of the University of Liverpool where he is studying Electronics and Communications Engineering disclosed that he was able to attain a first class standing(4.0 GPA) during his first year at the university. Two weeks ago, he opened a Go Fund Me account to seek assistance from well-meaning individuals.
Davido’s gesture has been widely commended by fans who recently hit out at him when he challenged Don Jazzy to a N5million bet for a video game.
