TV host and VJ, Orjiekwe Jennifer, known as Jenny Fab Obi has decided to try her hands in music.
The pretty broadcaster, who currently works with urban music station, HIP TV is dropping a debut music video titled ‘Follow You Go’ featuring top music producer, EX-O.
Speaking on her inspiration for going in to music, Jenny says: ‘My inspiration into music was from watching people like late king of pop Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Beyonce and others. Watching them sing inspire me a lot, so I said to myself I want to be like them and that was how it started and I am still on it.’
She started singing at the age of 11 with the Catholic Church choir and decided to take it as a professional career 5 years ago. Already, Jenny has a couple of songs released which include ‘Surugede’ and ‘Osho free’.
Speaking on her new song, she said ‘My new song, titled ‘Osho free’ talks about someone who doesn’t contribute but always want something, someone who don’t really want to work to get something. People like that are called ‘Osho free people’, so am just trying to tell my fans out there in my own way through music how an osho free person is’.
When asked how she combines music and broadcasting, Jenny said ‘Music is my passion and broadcasting is equally a career I have strong passion for, I’m still very young and active and so far I’ve been combining both very well, for now I won’t quit one for the other.’
