The annual Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) holds today, Sunday, April 25, 2021!
NECLive is the largest gathering of entertainment industry professionals in Nigeria. It attracts talents from all sectors of the entertainment industry to discuss pressing issues and proffer solutions to them.
Today’s event will assume a hybrid format, and will begin with the NECLive TV Special, a 90-minute production of the most powerful speakers and most memorable moments from the past seven years of the conference, voiced by veteran broadcaster, Jacob Akinyemi-Johnson.
Then, the conference proper which will feature seven speakers, fireside chats and live performances, will begin afterwards.
The lineup of speakers includes Nollywood superstar, Dakore Egbuson-Akande; entrepreneur and founder, Temple Management Company, Idris Olorunnimbe; accomplished entertainers, Basketmouth and Bovi; Big Cabal CEO, Tomiwa Aladekomo; Andela Co-Founder, Iyin Aboyeji and, 2019 Big Brother Naija winner and businesswoman, Mercy Eke. Media personality and producer, Bolanle Olukanni, is hosting the conference.

- Live broadcast on Hip TV
Hip TV, a Nigerian cable television channel, owned by creative entrepreneur, Ayo Animashaun, and a subsidiary of the media company Smooth Promotions, partnered with NECLive to cover this year’s event. Tune in to DStv Channel 324 and GOtv channel 74 to watch the entire event as it happens live.
The NECLive TV Special will air by 3:30 pm and the NECLive8 conference proper will broadcast at 6:00 pm on Hip TV.
