A new beef is brewing in the South African music industry and one of the usual suspects is involved.
Controversial rapper, AKA has been involved in more beefs in South Africa than anyone else.
Yesterday, his road manager, Tshiamo Letshwene was slapped backstage by popular disc jockey, Black Coffee, for ‘disrespecting’ him.
It’s not clear what led to the altercation but AKA responded on behalf of his team by cancelling his performance.
Apologies to my fans in PLK …. We won’t be performing tonight. I arrived, my band setup …. And then some bullshit happened.

Nobody will lay hands on someone on my team in front of thousands and expect me to continue as normal. @DStv

If you want to know why I didn’t perform tonight you will need to ask @dstvsa why it’s ok for people to assault my road manager on stage.

The media likes to portray me as an aggressive person ….. Please explain to me what part of Black Coffee smacking my road manager is ok?

So yeah guys …. I’m gonna get some food, sleep and call it. Had I retaliated in any form, you’d be the people calling me an asshole.
