The last time female rapper Kelechi Ohia ‘Kel‘ released any music was in November 2012.
That was the time she released the video for her song ‘Give it to me’ featuring W4.
The track was designed to be a comeback song for Kel who had been silent prior the release of that song.
Since then, she’s gone off the grid again and NET investigations have revealed that the former Capital Records act is moving to TV.
With her recent employment at the soon to be launched Cool TV, it is not likely that Kel will have time for music for sometime, that is if she has not altogether quit the scene.
Kel parted ways with the Clarence Peters led Capital Hill records in September 2012 and has since been struggling with her career.
She recently said in an interview that she’s been off the scene to rediscover new things about her self.
Cool TV is an arm of the Globe Broadcasting and Communications Limited, owners and operators of Cool FM, Wazobia FM and Nigeria Info FM 99.3. It is soon to be Kel’s new home and we wait to see what role she will play on TV.
