After months of waiting, book and film lovers will be delighted to know that ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’, the movie adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s sophomore novel, will premiere in Lagos during the month of April.
‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ stars Academy Award nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, British actress Thandie Newton, while its Nollywood cast includes Genevieve Nnaji, Zack Orji, OC Ukeje and Onyeka Onwenu.
The movie made its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2013 and subsequently in London at the BFI London Film Festival in October.
The movie, which will be available in cinemas across Lagos as from Friday, April 25, 2014, was directed by Biyi Bandele.
