Speaking on Washington D.C.’s radio programme ‘The Tommy Show’, she said: ‘I wish it didn’t happen. I wish this that all this wasn’t happening but at the same time, I feel like it was part of my life journey.’
The 46-year-old singer also admitted there are so many bad things about her fragile relationship with her estranged husband, but she hasn’t let her stopped her from finding love again with newly-single Blake Shelton.

But despite it being an emotional and heartbreaking time, Gwen believes some of her best work has come after the breakdown of some of her serious relationships.
She said: ‘In my life, I’ve had two really bad heartbreaks and I’ve written some really incredible music out of it. I feel so lucky to have that, and to be able to share it.’
