Sources claim that the controversial filmmaker was the guest of the governor, who supported his dream of building a film village with an undisclosed sum of money.
Insiders said the governor got wind of Ugboma’s financial state and intent to meet him on the pages of a newspaper and summoned the septuagenarian for a meeting.
Though the filmmaker refused to share the exact amount he got from the governor, insiders say it was N10m.
