NET gathered that the show is aimed at discovering new street music solo talents. An initiative of Unmissable incentives limited, the talent hunt is an open-mic competition that allows young people freestyle to a beat as auditions tour Lagos’ major neighbourhood.
‘We all came from the street to stardom, that is why I’m working with this talent hunt show to help young and upcoming talent from the streets too,’ Terry G told NET.
Contestants are expected to compose a song to a beat produced by any of the three producers, and present it at the auditions. Auditions will hold across Lagos between Saturday, May 10, 2014 and Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Discovered talents will get to work with the renowned music producers, D-Tunes, Terry G and I.D Cabasa, and the winner of the Naija Street Champ challenge will go home with One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) prize money and a 3-year record deal.
