Ghanaians are used to looking forward to August as the month marks the beginning of each edition of popular comedy event, 1000 Laughs Series.
After 19 editions, the comedy and music showpiece will return for the 20th edition at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday, August 1, 2015.
According to a statement from the organisers of the event, Charterhouse, the night dubbed, ‘A Night of 1020 Laughs and Music will give revelers an opportunity to forget about their troubles, mistakes (and) let go and laugh till their jaws hurt.
As the longest running comedy series in Ghana, the magic is not about to end as this year’s edition will feature some of the finest in comedy and music from the African continent once again and organisers say they will unveil the name of performers soon.
