Controversial Ghanaian TV/radio host, Afia Schwarzenegger has left her role as the ‘Evening Drive’ host at Happy FM for a new appointment with Kasapa 102.3 FM.
After several rumours about her resignation on social media, the former Happy FM host released a statement confirming that she indeed has a new role with Kasapa FM.
‘Yes it is true, I resigned from Happy FM and I am heading straight to Kasapa FM, big things this year#my year of tear rubbers.’
According to multiple reports, Afia’s new role with Kasapa FM owned by EIB Networks, will see her host the mid-morning show from 9am to 1pm on the new station which would broadcast predominately in Twi.
It is not the first time that Afia Schwarzenegger would be leaving one station for the other. She joined Happy FM in 2012 after leaving another rival station, Hitz FM shortly before then.
