In 2014, renowned Nigerian director Clarence Peters invited several video vixens for a music video shoot. Among those in attendance were three dancers, Emmanuella ‘Ellaley’ Odiley, Ifeoma ‘E4ma’ Efioku and Afije Roseline ‘Liquorose’ Omokhoa. The trio liked each others’ moves and, after the project, became friends and stayed in touch. A few weeks later, they decided to form a girls’ dance group, and ‘Girls Got Bold’ Dance Crew or GGB Dance Crew was born.
Ellaley was born in the Surulere area of Lagos on December 25, 1989. She attended Command Children’s School at Yaba before proceeding to Ogunlade College in Surulere for her secondary education.
Her interest in dancing began when she was a teenager when she would practice different dance moves. She turned her hobby into her passion as a student at the University of Lagos, becoming popular for her craft.
After her tertiary education, Ellaley ventured into choreography and visual modelling. She soon became a full-blown dancer appearing in ads for corporate organisations. She also collaborated with Davido, P-Square, Wande coal, Burnaboy, Diamond platinum and Olamide on different music video projects.
E4ma,born on October 4, 1993, in the Ketu area of Lagos,attended the Abbey Junior Mixed and Infants School, Ketu, for her primary school education and Our Lady of Apostles Secondary school in Yaba. She later attended the University of Benin Edo State for her tertiary education.
Before stardom, E4ma participated in the Maltina Dance All competition in 2012 at age 19, she emerged 1st runner-up. From then, she became passionate about dancing. Two years after narrowly missing out on the Maltina Dance All Competition, She entered the competition in 2014, where she won.
2014 proved to be a defining year for E4ma as she was made an Instructor at Maltina Dance All season Eight. She also entered the Project fame competition. It was also the same year she met Ellaley and Liqourose to form GGB Dance Crew.
In 2017, She was nominated as a judge for the Splash heroes competition, and in 2020, she hosted the Remy Martin Dance.
She has featured in a lot of music videos of top Nigerian artistes such as Iceprince’s ‘Oleku’, Mavin’s ‘Adaobi’, Lil Kesh’s ‘Shoki’, Timaya’s ‘Sexy Ladies’, Psquare’s ‘Shekini’, P’Square’s ‘Ejeajo’ ft TI, Mr P’s ‘For my head’, 2face’s ‘Go Go’ ft Machel Montano, Teni’s ‘Askamaya’, Tiwa Savage’s ‘Malo’ ft Wizkid, Dija’s ‘Aww’, Olamide ‘s ‘Shakitibobo’, Olamide’s ‘Wavy Level’ and ‘Science Student’ and Falz’s ‘High Class’.
Liqourose was born on March 31, 1995, In the Surulere area of Lagos. She attended Itire Nursery and Primary school and Del International College, Ijeshatedo, Surulere, Lagos State, for her primary and secondary education, respectively. She later attended the University of Lagos.
Her journey to stardom t began in 2012 when she featured in the TV comedy series, The Johnsons. Since then, she has taken dancing seriously, appearing as a video vixen in ‘Chop Am’ by Reekado Banks, ‘Yo,Yo,Yo’ by ‘Selebobo’, ‘Oh Oh’ by Runtown, and ‘Jalla’ by Xcellente featuring Solid Star.
In 2014, Liquorose, E4ma and Ellaley formed GGB Dance crew and became a formidable team. Liquorose’s emergence as a BBNaija housemate in 2021, where she emerged as the first runner-up, further boosted the popularity of the GGB Dance Crew and since then she has remained fans’ favourite
From posting viral dance videos on social media, the GGB Dance Crew has cemented its place as one of the leading dance groups in the country. The group has featured in video projects alongside musicians like 2face, Psquare, Dbanj, Donjazzy, Davido, wizkid, Olamide, Tiwa savage, Yemi Alade, Flavor, Mr Eazi, Seyi Shay, Timaya, Ycee, Iyanya, Kcee, Yemi Alade, Kizz Daniel,Falz, Skales, Kizz Daniel, Reekado banks, Naeto C.

In 2022, the GG Dance Crew was voted NET Honours Most Popular Dancer/Video Vixen, defeating Kaffy, Pinki Debbie, Tosin Pedro, Stephen Papi Ojo and Poco Lee.
