Players of 2014 World Cup winning team, Germany, were all present at the premiere of the celebratory film for the triumph, Die Mannschaft.
The movie, Die Mannschaft (The Team), which reveals some vital details on what inspired the Germans to triumph at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, led to the gathering of players, coaching staff and other footballing personalities on Monday, October 10, 2014 at the glitzy Potsdamer Platz in Berlin for the premiere.
The players seen with their wives include: Thomas Muller who came with his wife, Lisa as Sami Khedira and his wife, Lena Gerke; Miroslav and Slywia Klose, coach Oliver Bierhoff and his wife, Klara Szalantzy attended the event. Players who came with girlfriends include Mats Hummels who came with Cathy Fischer, Mario Gotze and his model girlfriend Ann-Kathrin Broemmel, German goalkeeper, Roman Weidenfeller and his girlfriend, Lisa Rossenbach, while defensive midfielder, Christoph Kramer also attended with his girlfriend, Celina.
Also present at the movie première were FIFA president, Sepp Blatter; German Chancellor, Angela Merkel and President Joachim Gauck
Germany defeated the host nation, Brazil 7 – 1 in the semi-final to advance to the final tournament where the European nation defeated Argentina 1 – 0 to be crowned champions.
