Charles Novia believes Genevieve gave a double dose of talent in her portrayal of a troubled married woman in her debut movie as a producer, ‘Road to Yesterday’.
He applauds her acting stating that ‘there was a sublimal message in her acting this time; a ‘Bow down , Bitches’ underlying theme to her challengers and I would think she pulled it off somewhat to make her statement; that she’s back on the turf.’
The ‘Alan Poza’ filmmaker put Genevieve in No 4 of his top 5 actresses of 2015. He however believes Stephanie Okereke is the best role interpreter this year.
