After Amal Clooney took styling into her hands as she wore white gloves to the 2015 Golden Globes red carpet, mixed feelings followed.
A lot of people thought it will be the new fashion trend while others just couldn’t stand her. One person from our part of the world think it’s the new fashion trend though and apparently could not wait to rock it her way.
Funmi Iyanda, the well loved TV host took it on, channelling Amal by wearing a sleeveless velvet top and accessorising with her gloves. And unlike Amal’s famous white gloves, Funmi rocked a lacey black to Nigerian gay activist, Bisi Alimi’s surprise birthday party in London yesterday, January 24, 2015.
We think Funmi looks good but whether it will it be favourable for Nigeria’s weather and environment is another thing entirely.
