For those who are waiting for the much discussed ‘Return of Jenifa‘;the sequel to the comedy motion picture ‘Jenifa‘, they’ll have to wait much longer as the movie which was scheduled to open at the cinemas on Friday, August 26, 2011 has been postponed to September 23, 2011.
And as expected the lead role ‘Jenifa’ will still be played by Nollywood star actress Funke Akindele who’s also the movie’s writer and producer. But there is more this time, as the actress will be flaunting her dance style, assisted by the very popular choreographer Kaffy.
Directed by Muyudeen Ayinde, the movie will premiere at the Muson Centre in Lagos and features a star studded cast which includes Banky W, Kaffy, Eldee, Freeze, Eniola Badmus,Yinka Quadri, Wizkid, Antar Olaniyan, Mercy Aigbe, Ronke Oshodi Oke,Denrele Edun, CD John, Helen Paul, Naeto C, DJ Zeez and many others.

Funke’s work is simply delicious! Cant wait for the return of Jenifa. Funke is certainly going places, Mark my words! She’s got that dose of originality that is certainly missing in a lot of our writers n producers these days. Congrats Funke
