
A Lagos-based promoter and talent manager is thanking his stars after surviving a near-fatal road accident over the weekend.
Shola Arowoshaye, who’s widely known as Fuji singer Sulaimon Malaika’s former manager told Nigerian Entertainment Today he rammed his car into a truck while driving to an event in Abeokuta last weekend. He was with his wife.
‘I thank God for my life. I could not imagine this. What I saw was a truck coming our way. The rest are stories. I don’t even want to remember this again,’ he told Thenetng.
Shola Arowoshaye was driving a 2005 white Honda Accord Hood which he bought in June 2016 along Ewekoro -Abeokuta Express Way, Ogun State when he rammed into a truck carrying sand.

‘It is a sad experience. I bought the car in June this year. Well-wishers have been sending get well soon messages to me. My wife whom is in the car with me is healthy as well. What ever happened, I believe it is from God’.

The artiste manager who suffered little injury in the hand was admitted to an undisclosed nearby hospital and he was discharged same day the incident happened.
In March, Gospel musician Yinka Ayefele lost one of his band boys to a fatal accident along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident allegedly happened between 9 – 10 pm when the truck conveying musical equipment belonging to the ‘Next Level’ singer ran into a ditch on the road.
