Nigeria’s capital city Abuja is experiencing a scarcity of some petroleum products, especially PMS, according to sources in that city.
We’re told the scarcity began on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, due to an industrial action by oil marketers because some of them were allegedly yet to be paid their subsidies for oil importation by the federal government.
The scarcity according to Channels TV was induced by Federal Government‘s refusal to pay the oil marketers who had been indicted by the fuel subsidy investigations committee.
The scarcity has created long queues at fuel stations within and around the FCT.
