Internet fraudsters have opened an account in the name of Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aliyu Wamakko, on Facebook.
The governor’s special assistant on press affairs, Mallam Abubakar Dangusau, has told members of the public not to fall victim to them, saying ‘any information claiming to have come from the account should be ignored.’
He added that ‘the relevant security agencies have been informed of the fraudulent account and ‘are leaving no stone unturned to apprehend the suspected fraudsters.’
